The State of Georgia established County Poor Houses which housed paupers and widows. This is an extraction of
those records from census records and old newspapers.

preserved over a 40-year period. It contains traced genealogies, probate records, confederate deaths,
revolutionary war pensions, cemeteries, obituaries, marriages, census, cherokees, births,
school graduates, etc.
