A Collection of Georgia Colonial Passenger Lists, Land Grants, Biographical Sketches

This information was abstracted from Candler's Colonial Record's of Georgia, and is very selective for the genealogist researching early settlers. The Biographical Sketches were developed as an effort to endeavor to learn what happened to Georgia's first families, particularly those who resided in Savannah and in Frederica. They begin with their arrival in the colony and are traced as far as possible. Other records are definitive subjects of land grants, orphans, deaths, Indian traders, etc.
